FitStellr ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the FitStellr mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information — When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture.
• Profile data — Information you voluntarily provide such as age, weight, height, and fitness goals.
• Workout data — Records of workout programs and sessions you mark as complete within the app, and workouts you plan on your calendar.
• Wellness logs — Entries you choose to record in the app's trackers, such as daily water intake, mood, and body weight. These are stored in your account so they sync across your devices.
• Device information — Basic device identifiers collected automatically by our advertising partner (Google AdMob) for the purpose of serving ads.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To save and display your workout progress and history.
• To personalise your experience within the app.
• To display advertisements via Google AdMob.

3. Google Sign-In

We use Google Sign-In for authentication. By signing in with Google you agree to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We only request access to your basic profile information (name, email, and profile picture).

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

FitStellr displays ads served by Google AdMob (banner, interstitial, and app-open formats). AdMob may collect and use data such as your device's advertising identifier to show you relevant ads. In regions where consent is required, we request your consent before serving personalised ads. You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation). For more information see Google's Advertising Policy.

5. Health & Fitness Data (Health Connect)

On Android, FitStellr can read certain health and fitness data from Health Connect, with your permission: steps, active and total calories burned, heart rate, sleep sessions, and exercise sessions. This data is used only to display your activity inside the app (for example on the Activity card, health cards, and Calendar).

This Health Connect data is read-only, stays on your device, is not uploaded to our servers, and is never used for advertising or shared with any third party. You control this access through Health Connect and can revoke it at any time in the Health Connect settings on your device.

6. Samsung Health

With your permission, FitStellr can connect to Samsung Health on compatible Samsung devices:

• Reading — steps, active minutes, calories, heart rate, sleep, and exercise sessions are read to display your activity inside the app. This data stays on your device, is not uploaded to our servers, and is never used for advertising or shared with any third party.
• Writing — when you mark a workout as complete, you can choose to have FitStellr save that workout (duration and estimated calories) into Samsung Health as an exercise session, so it appears in your Samsung Health history and on your Galaxy watch.

You control both permissions in the app's Connect screen and in Samsung Health's "Data permissions" settings, and you can revoke them at any time.

7. YouTube Content

Workout videos in FitStellr are played through the official YouTube embedded player and YouTube API Services. By playing videos you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google may collect data as described in the Google Privacy Policy. FitStellr does not access your YouTube account and does not request any YouTube account permissions.

8. Data Storage

Your account and workout data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

9. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time directly in the app (Profile → Delete account), or by requesting deletion from us at the email address below. Health Connect and Samsung Health data is not stored by us, so it is removed simply by revoking the app's access in Health Connect or Samsung Health settings.

10. Children's Privacy

FitStellr is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
